Another one of Culpeper’s pet friendly restaurants, Uncle Elder’s BBQ is a barbecue restaurant located in Culpeper, Virginia. They serve a variety of barbecue dishes, including pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and ribs, as well as sides such as mac and cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. We have eaten here many times before and did not see this until today, it is on the back of the menu, so I have no excuse. History is everywhere you just have to open your eyes to see it.
What is really nice about Uncle Elder’s Porch is it is enclosed. So cloudy, chilly, and windy days like today we were comfortable eating outside. While most other restaurants patios are exposed to the elements.
The food was good a it usually is and we got to have one of our dogs with us for lunch.
